State senators Maria Cantwell and Patty Murray must vote to pass HR1 and stand up for a bold and progressive Senate to uphold the standards of democracy.

Democracy often means real changes to outmoded forms like the filibuster. At this time, the filibuster is not being used for the purpose of encouraging debate and consensus.

The GOP ultra-right conservative senators are weaponizing the use of filibusters to derail the Democratic agenda to actually serve the American voters, the working class and the marginalized groups in our country.

Democrats needs to pass HR1 and end the filibuster. Its corrupted form must be taken out of the hands of white supremacist senators who want nothing more than to stay in power without serving the needs of American citizens.
