“Jim” passed away peacefully in his home in Mount Vernon, WA at the age of 79. He follows his second wife Valerie Gail (1949 – 2009) of 19 years; and is survived by his wife Dana, four sons, one daughter, and nine grandchildren.Jim was devoted to his family and loved to spend time with his nine grandchildren. Jim worked in the scaffolding business for 35 years, but his true passion was collecting antiques and studying history. His pastime was filled with collecting, crosswords and reading about history.

His wonderful sense of humor, his boisterous laugh, and his gregarious smile would liven any conversation. Jim will be deeply missed by all those who knew him and loved him.

A memorial will be held Thursday November 9th 2023, at St Mary’s Church, 207 N Main St, Coupeville, WA 98239 at 9:30 am. Graveside ceremony to follow at Sunnyside Cemetery. All who knew him welcome!
