At 10:09 p.m., a caller reported being “locked in” at Windjammer Park.

At 10:15 p.m., a resident reported that someone was throwing beer bottles at cars on Highway 20.

At 10:35 p.m., a caller reported that a man near the Jiffy Lube was stopping female customers to say lewd things in “a vaguely threatening manner.”

At 11:24 p.m., a driver reported that a man in a kilt was standing in the middle of Pioneer Way.

Thursday, Sept. 5

At 7:25 p.m., a woman on Northeast Taftson Street reported that a dog tried to bite her infant in a stroller.

At 7:39 p.m., a driver reported that a young couple was ranting, raving and arguing in traffic on North Oak Harbor Street.

At 8:10 p.m., a Waterside Court resident reported that people were fishing in a pond without permission.

Friday, Sept. 6

At 8:11 a.m., a resident on Northeast Seventh Avenue reported that a woman parks a Honda Civic on the street every night. She vomits in the bushes and then sleeps overnight in the car.

At 1:14 p.m., a caller reported that four people were setting up tents on Southeast Bayshore Drive.

At 3:02 p.m., a staff member at a school on Northwest Second Avenue reported that teachers on the playground heard three gunshots. The children were brought inside but police were unable to locate anything of concern.

At 3:59 p.m., a caller on Bayshore Drive reported that someone needs to check on the queen.

At 4:50 p.m., a driver reported that protesters at the intersection of Highway 20 and Pioneer Way were pushing the pedestrian crossing button.

At 9:08 p.m., Walmart reported that someone tried to pay for items with fake cash.

At 8:37 a.m., a driver on Harbor Vista Circle reported that the car’s hood flew up and cracked the windshield.

At 6:35 p.m., a caller reported that a seagull with a broken wing was on Highway 20.

At 10:44 p.m., a resident reported that teenagers threw logs onto Oak Harbor Road.

At 10:50 a.m., a resident reported finding a Chihuahau running in the middle of East Whidbey Avenue.

At 11:33 a.m., a man reported that his wife is not in her right mind. He said she was dressed up in a military uniform even though she is not working on base.

At 4:06 p.m., a caller reported that a man was driving up and down Southwest 10th Avenue and threatening to shoot everyone in the neighborhood.

At 5:58 p.m., a caller reported that a group of eight kids were fighting on Upland Court.
