Personnel from Naval Air Station Whidbey Island attended the Department of the Navy’s second annual Sexual Assault Prevention Summit this week at the Florida Hotel and Conference Center in Orlando.

The summit provided a forum for senior leaders in the Navy and Marine Corps to talk with experts and discuss sexual assault prevention strategies for their region.

The focus of the three-day summit was on sexual assault prevention and the impact of alcohol on sexual assaults.
