Whidbey’s unique woodland garden is slowly awakening from another winter’s sleep and could use a little help.

Those interested are invited to join a team of volunteers at Meerkerk Rhododendron Gardens in Greenbank. There are several opportunities to put your talent to work. There are indoor activities every day or work from home; outside work parties are held every Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon, with lunch provided, and the second Saturday of every month, also from 9 a.m. to noon with potluck lunch. No previous gardening or horticultural experience is required.
