Parents interested in homeschooling their children can sign up for a two-part class at Skagit Valley College-Whidbey Island Campus in Oak Harbor.

The Homeschool Parent Qualification class will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 27 and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 28.

Completion of the class provides legal qualification to homeschool in Washington State and also provides basic information about this educational option.
