Shanty Fest, the annual musical celebration held to benefit Whidbey Island medical support groups, has been canceled.

The event was to be held Friday and Saturday at Greenbank Farm. However, due to inclement weather this week, the event has been canceled. Organizers expect the event will be rescheduled for sometime in February.

Shanty Fest features music, free workshops and fun, plus performances by Whidbey Island’s own Shifty Sailors and many others.
