Lanes are going fast for those who want to ring in the New Year with a family-friendly event at the Convergence Zone on Naval Air Station Whidbey Island.

Beginning at 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 31, eligible personnel can enjoy Cosmic Bowling, glowing earth globes, giant bucket list, karaoke, party poppers, noise makers and a champagne or sparkling cider toast.

Children can decorate a New Year’s hat and participate in an air hockey tournament and coloring contest. Teens can compete in an Xbox tournament.

Cost is $100 per lane (up to six people), $15 for each additional person. Price includes Cosmic Bowling, shoe rental, appetizers, champagne toast, live entertainment and prizes throughout the evening.
