The Oak Harbor Yacht Club Buccaneers will host the 31st Annual Kids Fishing Derby at the Oak Harbor Marina Saturday, July 9.

The event is free and open to children from 6 to 12 years of age. Registration begins at the Yacht Club at 9 a.m.

Bait will be provided, but participants should bring their own fishing pole, tackle and life preserver. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Prizes will be awarded and lunch will be provided for the children who fish and their families.
