Oak Harbor Adventist
The Oak Harbor Adventist Church invites the Oak Harbor community to a very special Easter worship service on Saturday, March 22, beginning at 10:45 a.m. The service will include choral selections and a reader’s theater. Coupeville Community Bible Church at 502 NE Otis St., invites the community to an Easter program, ”A Soldiers’ King,” to be presented on Easter Sunday, March 23, at 11 a.m., and March 28 at 7 p.m. at Family Bible Church, 2760 Heller Rd. in Oak Harbor.

Join First Reformed Church Easter morning, March 23, for their worship services as well as an egg hunt and a light brunch. of Christ, Scientist
Services on Easter Sunday at First Church of Christ, Scientist, will be at 10 a.m. In the Bible Lesson-Sermon for Easter Sunday is the verse from the King James Version of the Bible, Luke 24:6, speaking of Christ Jesus, “He is not here, but is risen.” Sunday school for toddlers through teens meets at the same hour as the church service. St. Stephen’s Episcopal
St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church will celebrate the remaining Holy Week schedule at All Saint’s Chapel, 555 S.E. Regatta Dr, Oak Harbor. The Rev. Rachel Taber-Hamilton will preside at each service.
Mar 19, Wednesday, Tenebrae 5 p.m. Celebrated on the Eve of the last three days of Holy Week.
March 20, Maundy Thursday, 5 p.m., washing of the feet, Eucharist (Overnight Vigil).
March 21, Good Friday, Stations of the Cross, 5 p.m.
March 22, Holy Saturday, Solemn Easter Vigil Candle Light Service, 8 p.m.
Mar 23, Easter Sunday, 9 and 11 a.m., a traditional celebration of the Eucharist with special music and flowers for Easter day. This service will begin with the children rediscovering and unburying the Alleluia stone they buried at the beginning of Lent, restoring the spoken “Alleluia!” to the people and the church service. Sunday school will meet during the 11 a.m. service, where children will create special Easter baskets. An Easter egg hunt will immediately follow the 11 a.m. service.
Coupeville United Methodist
A Holy Thursday service will be held on March 20, at 7 p.m., at Coupeville United Methodist Church.
On Easter Sunday, March 23, the 6:30 a.m. Sunrise Service will be held at Sunnyside Cemetery. The 7:15 a.m. pancake breakfast that follows at the church will be a fundraiser for youth who will be attending the Puget Sound District’s youth gathering, CONVO, over Memorial Day weekend. Community members are welcome.
St. Stephen’s Anglican
St. Stephen’s Anglican Church in Oak Harbor is celebrating Easter with the high holy days of the church year.
Maundy Thursday marks the giving of the new commandment by Jesus “to love one another as He loves us.” The date is March 20. The evening begins at 6 p.m. in the Parish Hall with a soup supper in a beautifully decorated room. This is followed by a Holy Communion Service which ends with the stripping of the altar. A Prayer Vigil will continue through the night until noon on Good Friday.
Good Friday begins at 7 p.m. on March 21 with Holy Communion. The evening ends in darkness and silence.
Easter Sunday is marked with lilies and many flowers. There will be celebration hymns, music and joy as we recognize that Christ is risen. The service is a Festival Eucharist at 10:30 a.m. and is followed by an Easter Day reception in the Parish Hall with delicious food for all.

On Good Friday of Holy Week, March 21, gather with the Christian Reformed Church at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary to remember and celebrate the atoning death of Jesus. This candlelit service will include communion, choral music, solos, congregational song accompanied by a rich variety of instruments and several scripture readings with reflections offered by each of the church’s pastors. At Concordia Lutheran Church in Oak Harbor, Good Friday is March 21 at 7 p.m. with prayer vigil from noon to 7 p.m.

Oak Harbor Lutheran
At Oak Harbor Lutheran Church Maundy Thursday worship is March 20 at 7 p.m., including Holy Communion.
Two worship times are offered on Good Friday, March 21, at noon and 7 p.m. The Vigil of Easter, March 22, begins at 7:30 p.m. and includes creative retelling of Old Testament stories and the celebrations of Holy Baptism and Holy Communion. Easter Sunday is March 23, with worship services at 7, 9 and 11 a.m., including celebration of Holy Communion. Nursery care is provided at some of this week’s services.
