City leaders make progress

It was standing room only at the July 12 Oak Harbor City Council meeting and I was very proud to live in the greatest city in Washington. I listened to the overwhelming majority of public comments that were positive and supportive being addressed to the mayor and the city council.

I, like many others in attendance,  have great faith and pride in our community leadership. With a little further investigation, I learned that 11 of 20 projects that are being brought to fruition in our city are projects that have been on the city agenda, or sitting on committee agendas for five to 35 years. With this administration the foundation is being laid and decisions are being made!
