I want to thank the group of volunteers in the Island County Treasurer’s Office. They tirelessly appeared week after week during property tax season to assist the staff in opening mail and preparing payments for processing.

I was unable to attend this year’s Volunteer Appreciation Brunch on May 16, but nevertheless express heartfelt appreciation to Bob, Beulah, Maddy, Lionel, Betty, Janette, Jean, Margaret and Tom for their time and work on the behalf of the county.

I apologize if I omitted anyone. Had it not been for this generous group, tax payment processing would be weeks behind.

Everyone in Island County appreciates your volunteer service.
