The Oak Harbor youth football teams began the regular season Saturday, Aug. 22, and here are a few shots of the action by photographer John Fisken.

At Fort Nugent, the Oak Harbor Peewee Purple defeated Sedro-Woolley Blue 20-15, Peewee Gold defeated South Whidbey 35-6, Midget Gold defeated Sedro-Woolley Blue 37-13, Sedro-Woolley Whited defeated Midget Purple 41-18 and Bellingham defeated the Seniors 39-12.

Junior Purple fell 14-6 at Granite Falls, and Junior Gold won 38-6 at Sedro-Woolley Blue.
