Shorewood tripped up the Oak Harbor High School tennis team 7-0 Tuesday, April 16, in Shoreline.

Oak Harbor nearly pulled out two matches, losing a pair of close third sets in two doubles matches to the Thunderbirds (6-1, 7-3).

In first doubles, Chelsea Admire and Jamie Estrella lost 4-6, 6-4, 7-5; and in third doubles, Caterina Amsler and Brittany Rigby fell 6-4, 2-6, (10-6).

Other results:

Singles: 1, Chelsea Atkinson lost 6-0, 6-0; 2, Makenzie Perry lost 6-0, 6-0; 3, Kyla McKinney lost 6-0, 6-0; 4, Faith Franssen lost 6-1, 6-1.

Doubles: 2, Zena Husler/Alyssa Eden lost 6-2, 6-1.

Oak Harbor (2-6, 2-8) goes to Marysville Getchell (1-7, 2-9) at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, April 18.
