The Jackson High School swim team finished 1-2 in all but three events to defeat Oak Harbor 123-43 Thursday, Dec. 17, at West Coast Aquatics in Mill Creek.
The 4A Timberwolves raised their record to 4-0, winning each meet by at least 66 points.
The top finishes for the Wildcats were second places in the 500-yard freestyle by Joe Gorman (5:36.41); 200 free relay (Logan Clark, Eric Jensen, Cole McClasin and Gorman, 1:44.5); and 400 free relay (Garrett Karney, Quinn Karney, Jose Cabigting and McClasin, 4:24.2).
Four Oak Harbor swimmers posted district qualifying times: Gorman (200 free, 2:06.23; 500 free, 5:36.41), Jensen (50 free, 25.46; 100 butterfly, 1:00.47), McClasin (200 free, 2:09.91; 500 free, 5:54.27) and Cabigting (100 breaststroke, 1:14.44).
Oak Harbor (1-5) is now off until 5:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 4, when it hosts Monroe (2-5).
