An update on the Soroptimists

Thank you for the nice coverage we received for our first annual Christmas Home Tour event! It was very successful! Many thanks for Jenny Manning’s nice article and photo in the Whidbey News-Times. We do have a lot to be thankful for here in our Oak Harbor community.

Thank you for the nice coverage we received for our first annual Christmas Home Tour event! It was very successful! Many thanks for Jenny Manning’s nice article and photo in the Whidbey News-Times. We do have a lot to be thankful for here in our Oak Harbor community.

Regarding the Dec. 23 News-Times editorial, there is a misconception that Soroptimist International of Oak Harbor sponsors the Festival of Trees. While many of our members do work on and donate to that fundraiser, all profits go to Big Brothers Big Sisters, not the Oak Harbor Soroptimist club. However, we’d love to co-sponsor if asked. Happy 2010, everyone! We’re looking forward to next year’s Christmas Home Tour, Dec. 11.
