“The Crow Show: An Homage to the Raven” will be on display at WHIDBEY ART GALLERY through Oct. 31. The exhibit depicts the many faces of crows, both in reality and fantasy.

THE BARRINGTONS, the newest piece of art in downtown Oak Harbor, was officially dedicated Sept. 18 on Pioneer Way. The sculpture created by North Whidbey artist Wayne Lewis depicts early Oak Harbor pioneers Edward Barrington and his wife Christina McCrohan Barrington on their wedding day in 1865. Barrington descendants from Whidbey and as far away as Alaska attended the small ceremony.

Marianne Borozny is the featured artist for October in OAK HARBOR CITY HALL. Borozny’s interests lie in capturing natural light, crystallizing simple forms and isolating textures and patterns.

ROB SCHOUTEN GALLERY will feature new works by sculptor Dan Freeman Oct. 7-31. A First Friday reception will take place 5-7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7, at the Greenbank Farm gallery.
