4 Flyers grab state titles

Hailee Blau was a two-time winner in the 13-14 age group, taking first place in the Level 7 double mini and Level 5 tumbling.

Other champions included Juliet Aspery in Level 5 trampoline (15 and over), Lauren Bayne in Level 5 tumbling (11-12) and Natalie Hahn in Level 4 tumbling (11-12).

National qualifiers on at least one event included Juliet Aspery, Lauren Aspery, Blau, Bayne, McKenzie Meyer, Kelly Gruenwald, Lilly Hammitt, Hahn and Kayli Benedetto.

Athlete of the Meet honors went to Juliet Aspery for recording a personal-best score while winning the trampoline championship and for qualifying for Nationals on two events with limited practice time.

All team members have qualified to compete at the Region 1 Championships in Portland in May.

Other top three finishes at state:

Ages 9-10: 3, Hammitt, Level 5 trampoline, Level 4 tumbling.

Ages 11-12: 2, Meyer, Level 5 tumbling; 2, Hahn, Level 5 trampoline; 3, Amaya Rittierodt, Level 7 trampoline, double mini; 3, Gruenwald, Level 5 trampoline, double mini; 3, Bayne, Level 6 trampoline.

Ages 13-14: 2, Lauren Aspery, Level 7 double mini; 3, Lauren Aspery, Level 5 tumbling; 3, Blau, Level 6 trampoline.

Ages 15 & over: 2, Juliet Aspery, Level 5 tumbling; 3, Juliet Aspery, Level 7 double mini.
