The Oak Harbor High School tennis team has played three matches this season and lost each by the same score, 5-2.

The latest setback was at Lynnwood Thursday, March 17.

The Wildcat winners were AnnaBelle Whitefoot (6-3, 6-0) and Elma Marie Empinado (6-1, 6-1) in first and fourth singles.

Oak Harbor (0-3) will play its fourth match in four days when it goes to Mount Vernon (1-0) for a 3:30 p.m. match Friday, March 18.

Singles: 2, Lauren Aspery lost 6-3, 6-1; 3, Peyton Carlson lost 7-6(4), 7-5.

Doubles: 1, Brianne Guzman/Aelizah Espiritu lost 6-4, 6-3; 2, Emma Wezeman/Emily Brown lost 6-2, 6-3; 3, Sarah Smith/Julia Smith lost 6-1, 6-1.
