Four different Coupeville High School athletes won multiple events at a three-team track meet at South Whidbey High School Thursday, March 31.
Archbishop Thomas Murphy won both the boys and girls meets, topping Coupeville and South Whidbey in the boys meet 97-34-29, and South Whidbey and Coupeville in the girls 71-59-39.
Tyler King led the way for the Wolves by winning all three distance events (800 meters, 2:00.87; 1,600, 4:29; 3,200, 10:42.9).
Hunter Hammer (shot put, 48-03; discus, 132), Jai’Lysa Hoskins (100, 13.66; 200, 28.69) and Madison Tisa-McPhee (100 hurdles, 17.68; 300 hurdles, 52.62) were double winners.
Hoskins also joined Grace LaPoint, Cassidi Rosenkrance and Anna Bailey to win the 4×400 relay (4:30.3).
Kyra Ilyankoff snared the other Wolf win in the shot put (33-03).
Coupeville competes next at the Sehome Invitational Saturday, April 9, at 10 a.m.
