Sunday, May 17
At 2:10 a.m., a Libbey Road resident reported hearing an explosion. Another resident reported hearing a car speeding away after a “booming sound.”
Saturday, May 16
At 2:37 p.m., a Ridgeway Drive resident reported finding baby birds in the attic.
At 5:08 p.m., a Hollydale Lane resident reported that someone left a note on the door threatening to kill him.
At 12:07 p.m., a Highway 20 resident reported that his ex-girlfriend has been showing up at his house and making death threats.
At 9:47 p.m., there was a report that a Volkswagen Jetta was going to be repossessed on Rifle Road.
Friday, May 15
At 6:34 a.m., a State Street resident reported that a black, gas-powered, Schwinn bicycle was stolen from the front porch.
At 5:53 p.m., a caller reported that “mom is out of control” at a Highway 20 home.
At 4:51 p.m., a woman reported that her ex-boyfriend harassed her and her husband as they were driving on Highway 20. He tailgated them and passed them, stopping in the middle of the road in front of their car.
Thursday, May 14
At 10:06 a.m., a caller reported that a man came to his Rolling Dunes Lane home the night before and confronted his estranged wife. The caller said he smashed her phone so she couldn’t call 911 and struck cars with his pickup.
At 4:07 p.m., a North View Lane resident reported that his children found an injured cat.
At 4:23 p.m., a caller reported that a blue van struck a deer near the Coupeville dump. The van didn’t stop.
At 5:25 p.m., an Ocean Bluff Lane resident reported problems with her air conditioning. She said it was making a lot of noise.
At 6:04 p.m., a Basil Road resident reported someone stole an Xbox 360 and games.
At 9:26 p.m., a Ridgewood Drive resident reported a computer was stolen from the house.
At 10:01 p.m., a Hunt Road resident reported that a burglar was in the basement.
Wednesday, May 13
At 5:11 p.m., a caller reported that a camper struck the side of Deception Pass Bridge, ripping off an electrical jack, but didn’t stop.
At 6:14 p.m., a Ferry Avenue resident reported someone stole a portable hard drive and a roommate’s wedding ring.
At 6:57 p.m., Navy base security reported that they were following the car of a suspect in a shoplift at the Exchange.
Tuesday, May 12
At 12:02 p.m., a caller reported that two dogs were on Highway 20 near Arnold Road. One of the dogs, a possibly pregnant Chihuahua, had apparently been hit by a car.
At 1:02 p.m., a caller reported that her daughter found a chihuahua and another dog on Highway 20 near Monroe Landing Road.
At 1:50 p.m., a doctor’s office reported that a woman had called and said she was going into labor four hours previously. She was told to go to the hospital, but never arrived.
At 4:22 p.m., a Taylor Road resident requested to speak with a deputy about a chicken that lives across the road.
At 4:43 p.m., a called reported that a car abandoned on Cabrini Court had been vandalized.
At 10:20 p.m., a caller reported people were in an Oldtimer Street house that had been foreclosed and was supposed to be empty. The caller said they may be squatters.
At 11:24 p.m., a caller reported that the driver of a Dodge Neon stopped in the middle of Highway 20 near Monroe Landing Road. The caller passed the car, which then followed her.
At 11:21 p.m., a burglary was reported on Penn Cove Road. The suspects fled on foot.

At 12:49 p.m., a caller reported a man sporting a gray pony tail approached him at a Highway 20 location. The man was looking for property where he could park his motor home.
At 6:21 a.m., a caller reported an assault at a NE Sixth Street location.
Saturday, May 16
At 9:39 p.m., a Terry Road resident reported his home may have been burglarized.
At 7:32 p.m., a caller reported someone stole a car key from a Volkswagen Jetta at the Coupeville boat ramp.
At 4:09 p.m., a caller reported a friend living at a Terry Road home may have a lot of stolen property.
At 12:18 p.m., a NW Fourth Street resident reported someone broke into her home.
At 10:57 a.m., a caller reported finding an 18-karat diamond pendant in the park near the intersection of Coveland and Alexander streets.

At 5:55 p.m., a caller reported a grease fire in a North Main Street apartment.

At 6:14 p.m., a caller reported a portable hard drive and a roommate’s wedding ring was stolen from a Ferry Avenue home.

At 7:22 p.m., a NE Otis Street resident reported big dogs were running loose.
At 5:56 p.m., a NE Eighth Street resident reported the rear license plate was stolen from his truck.
At 7:53 a.m., a caller reported four men in the area of South Main Street were soliciting Bibles to passersby.
