Tuesday, Jan. 1

At 12:06 a.m., a NW Hiyu Drive resident reported hearing firecrackers or gunshots.

At 1:10 a.m., a caller reported hearing heavy fireworks and a loud party at a NW Second Avenue location.

At 1:24 a.m., a caller reported two men were lying in the sidewalk on SW Freund Street.

At 1:39 a.m., a caller reported her boyfriend beat her up. She was standing at the corner of SE Ely Street and SE Pioneer Way.

At 6:24 a.m., a SW Kimball Drive resident reported people were trying to break into her house.

At 9:07 a.m., a caller reported a bicycle was stolen from a NW Crosby Avenue storage shed.

At 11:01 a.m., a NE O’Leary Street resident reported someone placed a firecracker in his mailbox.

At 9:37 p.m., a caller reported a fight taking place at a SW Fleet Street location.

At 9:58 p.m., a caller reported an egging took place at a SW Erie Street location.

At 6:11 a.m., a caller reported people “gang banging,” at a SE Pioneer Way location. They didn’t have any weapons.

At 9:19 a.m., a caller reported she saw what might be a gun laying by a mailbox at a SW Dyer Street location.

At 11:26 a.m., a caller reported a hit-and-run car accident occurred in a SE Pioneer Way parking lot.

At 1:43 p.m., a caller reported computers and other items were stolen from an E. Whidbey Avenue location.

At 3:29 p.m., a caller reported a car accident at the intersection of SW Fort Nugent Avenue and SW Swantown Avenue.

At 11:48 p.m., a caller reported illegal fireworks being lit off at a SW Scenic Heights Street location.

At 2:05 a.m., a caller reported a man, who was intoxicated, was punching the back of apartments on Fidalgo Avenue. He was also moaning and groaning, according to the caller.

At 4:08 p.m., a caller reported logs burning on the beach at a SE City Beach Street location.

At 6:26 p.m., a caller reported a NE Seventh Court resident fell through the attic and her leg is stuck in the ceiling.

At 8:32 p.m., a caller reported hearing two volleys of gunfire coming from a SW Eston Court location.

At 3:22 a.m., a caller reported a vehicle struck a cat at the intersection of Highway 20 and SW Eagle Vista Avenue. The cat died.

At 7:27 a.m., a caller reported someone is inside her vehicle.

At 12:40 p.m., a caller reported a rear-end car accident at the intersection of Highway 20 and NE 16th Avenue.

At 1:30 p.m., a SE Eighth Avenue resident reported someone stole two blue Frisbees.

At 1:56 p.m., a NW Crosby Avenue resident reported someone stole security cameras.

At 2:21 p.m., a caller reported someone stole a vacuum from a SW Erie Street business.

At 4:02 p.m., a caller reported someone broke into a NE Ernst Street shed.

At 6:35 p.m., a caller reported a car stolen from a NE Kettle Street location.

At 9:25 p.m., a caller reported someone was maced at a SE Barrington Drive location. The person who was maced tried to attack the caller’s girlfriend.

At 11:48 p.m., a caller reported someone threw a rock through the driver’s side window of her car.

At 1:02 p.m., a caller reported a vehicle rolled out of a parking space in a Highway 20 lot and hit two other vehicles.

At 2:09 p.m., a NW Rigging Street resident reported his neighbors threatened to hurt his wife and kill his dog.

At 3 p.m., a caller reported a shoplifter, who was carrying a machete, was being detained.

At 3:50 p.m., a NW Hiyu drive resident reported seeing a tan-colored pit bull in the backyard.

At 9:41 p.m., a caller reported a suspicious package has been left on top of a SE Barrington Drive mailbox.
