Winning nine of 11 events, the Oak Harbor High School swim team slid by Stanwood 104-65 at Vanderzicht Memorial Pool Monday, Jan. 13.
Two Wildcats won a pair of individual events: Joe Gorman (200-meter freestyle, 2:14.47; 400 free, 4:44.01) and Caley Powers (50 free, 26.27; 100 butterfly, 1:03.05).
Micha Geist took the 200 individual medley (2:28.93), and Cedric Cabigting captured the 100 backstroke (1:07).
All four individual winners also swam on winning relay teams.
Cabigting, Dakota Powers, Caley Powers and Geist won the 200 medley relay (2:01.99); Derek Volk, Geist and the Powers brothers were first in the 200 free relay (1:52.88); and Volk, Michael Bukolt, Cabigting and Gorman grabbed the 400 free relay (4:28.6).
Oak Harbor finished second in six races: Cabigting (200 IM, 2:32.52), Volk (50 free, 28.53; 100 free, 1:06.61), Eric Jensen (100 fly, 1:14.27), Dakota Powers (100 breaststroke, 1:21.1) and Geist (400 free, 4:53.24).
Oak Harbor (4-2) takes on Cascade (2-2) at Everett’s Forest Park Pool at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 16.
