Is it any wonder that most people on the island call your paper the Whidbey fish wrapper?

Wonderful article about the Oak Harbor Garden Club flower show. Too bad the article printed was dug up from your archives two years ago. What lazy idiot pulled that off?

You claim to be a community paper, yet you can’t even bother to send someone to the flower show to get a fresh look and a story.

These community ladies put a lot of work into their show and the respect they get from you is a two-year-old article, and to boot you didn’t even proof your own article to see if it was relevant. Clearly, if you had read the article you could have seen that they would not use the same judges year after year, and the core of the people would change.

I don’t know who dropped the ball on this, but they should be fired, and if it was you Mr. Editor, you should turn in your desk and bid the community farewell.
