Come have breakfast at Oak Harbor VFW | Letter

Editor, I would like to reply to Mr. Glenn Eckard’s June 12 letter regarding the lack of Sunday brunch establishments. I would like to invite him to the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 7392 at 3037 Goldie Road on the last Sunday of each month from 10 a.m. to noon for a brunch that should meet or surpass his expectations. Our volunteers serve a full breakfast from pancakes to biscuits and gravy, eggs to order, even chicken fried steaks in a timely manner at a very reasonable price, including a discount for seniors.

Editor,

I would like to reply to Mr.

We have been able to serve as many as 60 people in one hour, although that does push us to the max.

We just installed a new griddle that has helped speed up our service so I believe he will be satisfied with both the service and the quality of the food.

We have a seating area for the general public and they are welcome.

Mr. Eckard, we look forward to serving you.
