Host Kamiak coasted by the Oak Harbor High School volleyball team 3-0 Thursday, 25-14, 25-16, 25-11.
The Wildcats couldn’t muster any offense and no player had more than three kills. At one point, Oak Harbor had four consecutive service errors.
Coach Kerri Molitor said, “Things just kind of fell apart. We were a little out of synch.” Molitor said that she rested injured defensive star Kelsey Tarrazas-Cooley, and that may have had an effect on her team’s ability to get into any kind of rhythm.
Oak Harbor is now 2-2 and will travel to Jackson next Tuesday and then play Meadowdale at home at 7 on Thursday.
