The following items were selected from reports made to the Island County Sheriff’s Office:

Monday, Jan. 11

At 9:24 a.m., a caller reported the theft of a blower from Arbor Drive.

Sunday, Jan. 10

At 9:56 a.m., an E. Crescent Harbor Road resident reported that someone “took out” his and his neighbors’ mailboxes overnight.

At 11:15 a.m., a woman reported that a man beat her up and threw her out of the house naked three times overnight at a S. Harrington Lagoon Road residence.

At 12:08 p.m., a caller reported that a man with no shirt and no shoes was standing and yelling in the middle of Highway 20 near Madrona Way.

At 4:07 p.m., a caller reported that an elderly man who is squatting on property on Gun Club Road has turned off water to the caller’s rental.

Saturday, Jan. 9

At 8:40 a.m., a caller reported that someone hit and tore out six mailboxes in a row on Buck Way. Also, a street sign was hit.

At 10:56 a.m., an Engle Road resident reported that people were hunting on property west of his home where hunting is not allowed.

At 1:57 p.m., a woman reported being assault by her mother-in-law on Oak Harbor Road.

At 3:06 p.m., a man reported that his daughter was choked by her boyfriend on Boe Road.

Friday, Jan. 8

At 5:17 a.m., a Scenic Heights Road resident reported that she could hear an intruder downstairs.

At 5:18 a.m., a Crosswoods Circle resident reported that two vehicles were broken into overnight.

At 11:52 a.m., a Crosswoods Circle resident reported a car prowl. Tools, a knife and a flashlight were stolen.

At 10:42 p.m., a Welcher Road resident reported that her boyfriend assaulted her. She said he pulled the emergency brake while she was driving and punched out the window.

Thursday, Jan. 7

At 5:44 p.m., a woman reported she returned home to her residence off Highway 20 and found that someone locked her doors and stole her 2007 Lexus.

At 6:47 p.m., a caller reported that a man in a wheelchair was in the turn lane of Highway 20 near Liberty Market.

Wednesday, Jan. 6

At 3:51 p.m., there was a report of holly trees being damaged on West Beach Road.

Tuesday, Jan. 5

At 9:39 a.m., a caller reported witnessing two young men trying to fit a large axe in a bag at a location on Highway 20 south of Oak Harbor.

At 11:15 a.m., a driver reported a sheen of odoriferous diesel fuel on Highway 20 near Sleeper Road.

Sunday, Jan. 3

At 2:57 a.m., a caller reported that a man on Heller Road was blowing a fog horn.

Saturday, Jan. 2

At 6:51 a.m., a West Beach Road resident reported that her home was burglarized. She woke up to her dog crying and heard a board breaking. She saw a man run down the hallway and leave through a window.

Wednesday, Dec. 30

At 3:45 p.m., a Diane Avenue resident reported that a woman came to her door and asked to shampoo her carpet, then asked if she could use the resident’s bathroom.

Tuesday, Dec. 29

At 7:49 a.m., a caller reported that a “crazy” man on Heller Road blows a fog horn at all hours of the day and night because he has delusions that boys are having sex on top of his trailer and that the fog horn will stop them.

At 11:06 p.m., a visitor reported finding three necklaces, with ash inside a container, at Deception Pass Bridge.

Monday, Dec. 28

At 7:28 p.m., a caller reported that a jet ski was stuck in the flats after the tide went out near Beacon View Drive.
