There are three types of workers; government, free enterprise, and those who would work if they had a job. The free enterprise workers support the other two while also supporting their own families and the welfare system of those who would work if they could, those who can’t, those who won’t, and those who have given up.
Considering more than 50 percent of the work force is government workers, who are much better paid, with better benefits and better job security, how long do you think this system can last? We can continue to borrow heavily from other countries, but sooner or later they will find a better investment and stop the money flow.
Rep. Larsen and Obama would do well to pull the troops back, stop the huge redistribution of wealth, cut thousands of mindless regulations on small businesses, and give the average non-government worker a chance at success.
