I was reading the article on Whidbey General Hospital, and was more than a little upset that a lawyer (Rob Born) has any right to talk about anybody’s pay, let alone talk about making someone resign, or be fired.
I have had Dr. Zaveruha as a surgeon and he was there for the delivery of my daughter, and we couldn’t have been in better hands. If Dr. Z left it would be a major loss to our hospital, and community. I have only meet Mr. Tomasino a couple of times, but he was always professional and took care of any questions I had in a timely manner. It’s sad that someone can take it upon himself to disrupt a surgeon’s life, post his pay (remember he’s a surgeon, would you want a budget surgeon working on you?) and post it in the local newspaper for all to see.
Let’s see Mr. Born post his tax return in the paper; he feels free to post someone else’s pay. I have lived on the island for 22 years, and have always had the best, kindest and most professional treatment at Whidbey General Hospital and its clinics. There’s always someone out there trying to wreck a good thing.
