It looks like students on Whidbey Island got a week-long break from school. Poor weather conditions prompted officials to cancel classes Friday in the Oak Harbor School District, Coupeville School District and the South Whidbey School District.

The snow started Saturday and has been continuing through the week. Monday was a holiday for students and the weather and road conditions  prompted school officials to cancel classes Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
