On the 100th anniversary of naval aviation, I am reminded of the fact that our military sometimes gets a bad rap for the sound of aircraft overhead in and around Oak Harbor.
I think we should remember that those sounds are indeed “The Sound of Freedom,” and that our military personnel are the ones keeping the freedom in this country and around the world, so that we have the “right to complain” about the noise and speak out against and complain about the way our governments are doing things.
I would like to say thank you to all our military personnel and say God bless you and thank you for serving.
And please, keep that “Sound of Freedom” going.
