Amy Hermann of Oak Harbor and Darcy and Jim Harris of Renton, Wash., proudly announce the engagement of their children, Kristen Nicole Hermann and Marc David Demontigny.

Kristen Hermann is an Oak Harbor High School graduate of 2006 and has a bachelor of applied science degree in hospitality management. She is currently working for Eurest Dinning Services in Bellevue.

Demontigny is a graduate of Eastlake High School of 2003 and is a supervisor at the Woodmark Hotel and Yacht Club on Lake Washington.

The Woodmark is also where the couple met four years ago, when they were both employed there, and where Demontigny asked Hermann to be his wife. As it seems fitting, The Woodmark will also be the setting for the wedding, which is planned for September. The couple is very excited about sharing their love forever.
