Thanks for supporting federal giving program | Letters

On behalf of over 2,700 charitable organizations that were part of the 2012-2013 Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) of Island County, I would like to thank the federal employees of Island County who participated in this year’s fund drive at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island and the U.S. Postal Services of Island County. The generous employees of NAS Whidbey and the U.S. Postal Service raised over $256,000 in donations.

On behalf of over 2,700 charitable organizations that were part of the 2012-2013 Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) of Island County, I would like to thank the federal employees of Island County who participated in this year’s fund drive at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island and the U.S. Postal Services of Island County.

The generous employees of NAS Whidbey and the U.S. Postal Service raised over $256,000 in donations.

The federal employees of Island County contributed their time, talent, and treasurers to benefit the local, national, and international charitable organizations that participated in the local CFC of Island County.

Thanks to Naval Hospital Oak Harbor at NAS Whidbey for allowing Lieutenant Elyse Braxton to serve as the Loaned Executive.

Braxton trained, coordinated, and motivated unit coordinators and key workers who made this year a huge success.

This year’s CFC effort would not have been possible without the year-round support and guidance of the Local Federal Coordinating Committee that oversees the CFC. Thanks to the federal community for giving so generously in time and money.

With the help of all these individuals and donors, the CFC supported local, national, and international agencies to improve the quality of life for all.
