I don’t respond often to biased and illogical rants, but some of the rhetoric spewing from one-sided anti-police activists, i.e. Al Sharpton, is more than disconcerting.

A first responder — police, fire and medical — truly exhibits true courage in the face of life threatening danger to themselves and the citizens they are obligated to serve and protect. They perform these acts without a moment of hesitation or complaint. We should afford them a heartfelt thanks and the respect they deserve.
