The Oak Harbor High School cross country team opened the 2015 season at the 31-team Sehome Invitational in Bellingham Saturday, Sept. 12.
The meet was divided into races for each individual class, as well as a JV race for the boys.
The top finisher for Oak Harbor was Alexis Smith, who finished sixth out of 95 in the two-mile freshman girls race in 13:13.
The Wildcat boys were led by Miguel Guzman’s 15th place (10:19) in a field of 104 in the junior race.
Oak Harbor, Cascade and Kamiak will meet at Jackson High School in Mill Creek for a 3:45 p.m. meet Thursday, Sept. 17.
