Coupeville Ferry terminal will be closed on Saturday, May 2, and Sunday, May 3, for around-the-clock repairs to the transfer span that connects the ferry to the dock. There will be no service on the Port Townsend/Coupeville route during those days.

The closure dates were negotiated with all community leaders on Whidbey Island a few months ago, according to Ferry Advisory Committee member Ralph Young.
