Applications are due April 1. To request an application, email info@pacificnorthwestartschool.org.

Scholarships include “In Memory of Joan Brosnahan,” one $200 scholarship in painting or mixed media.

Youth Art scholarships have already been awarded to five students this year. Youth Art scholarships are reviewed on an individual basis. Contact the school if you are interested in a Youth Art scholarship.

A $500 scholarship is awarded to one graduating senior at Coupeville High School each year. CHS will publish information about the scholarship in their spring bulletin.

Funding for the Marilyn Winters Photography Scholarship is now depleted. Without replenishment, this scholarship will no longer be offered. For 2012, the school will offer one last $200 scholarship.

Anyone can invest in the arts by donating to one of the scholarship funds. General donations may be made or donations designated specifically to an area like painting, photography, fiber, mixed media or youth. Scholarships help give the gift of art to a young person, an aspiring artist or an established artist. Donations are tax deductible.

For new 2012 members who purchase a membership at the $100 level or higher, 50 percent of the membership will go to scholarship funds.
