I was dismayed to note in your column of Sept. 10 that you actually celebrate the candidacy of Sarah Palin for the second highest political office in the land.
Your opinion, based on the idea that she is “fit and able to serve” and “has a wealth of life experiences” is an example of the average small town skilled public servant. While we do have many good people in our community and beyond who only “need a chance to be heard,” someone like Sarah Palin (and her voice) is totally unqualified to be vice president.
Please stop deceiving your readers into believing that she is. You are contributing to the “dumbing down” of all of us.
