Lynnwood combined nine hits with six Oak Harbor errors to roll by the Wildcats 12-1 in five innings Tuesday, April 17, at Hillcrest Elementary School.
The second-place Royals (6-2, 7-3) scored three runs in each of the first two innings and then put the game away for good with a five-run fourth.
The Wildcats (1-7, 3-8) countered with only three hits. Marissa Fakkema singled and scored in the first inning and Shawna Steele rapped the other two hits and added a stolen base.
Oak Harbor plays at first-place and second-ranked Everett (7-0, 11-0) at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 24.
