Ted Clifton, Clifton View Homes, Coupeville, has been recognized by the National Association of Home Builders Research Center as a leader in energy-efficient construction.
As a winner of a 2010 Silver EnergyValue Housing Award, Clifton View Homes has demonstrated what a news release from the national organization terms as “a laudable commitment to building energy-efficient homes,” states a news release from the national organization.
As an example, the Yost/Fulcher residence in Coupeville was designed and built by Clifton View Homes working closely with the owners to develop both the home that they desired and the energy efficient technologies needed for long term sustainability.
For 20 years Clifton View Homes has been a leader in building green within Western Washington. Clifton said the company’s focus is both on new construction and also retrofit of existing homes to facilitate energy efficiency and cost savings.
Additionally, Clifton teaches throughout Washington and the entire nation assisting builders and home owners in learning how to become environmentally sustainable as both producers and end users.
