Oak Harbor’s Josiah Miller’s 80-yard touchdown run helped the West score a 28-21 win over the East in the annual all-state football game at Everett Saturday, June 30.
The defensives dominated early, forcing nine first-half punts, before Miller’s strike opened up the game with about a minute left in the second quarter.
From there, the West added three more scores to lead 28-0 before the East rallied for 21 points in the final 6:16.
Miller, who will play for Central Washington University this fall, finished with a game-high 98 yards rushing on five carries.
