Election of Clinton a threat to constitution | Letter

The Constitution is our foundation, our solid bedrock, that long made America unique. It should not be altered by any means other than by the provisions contained therein.

Editor,

The Constitution is our foundation, our solid bedrock, that long made America unique. It should not be altered by any means other than by the provisions contained therein.

In case you missed it, there is a Supreme Court vacancy that will be filled by the next president. If Hillary Clinton is elected, she stated she will attack the First and Second Amendments in spite of swearing an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution.

If her appointment of another liberal justice to the Supreme Court comes to pass, our founding document will be shredded by the liberal court.

Case in point. Look at the court voting records on any legislation and see where the four court liberals stood on the issue.

Law interpretation will be heavily skewed left not to mention continued legislation from the bench to favor a leftist agenda that wants to make our Constitution a “living document,” subject to change with the times or a whim.

We cannot allow this to happen.

Once that door is opened, any president will be able to modify our founding document to suit his/her agenda with a complicit court. The Constitution provides protection and guidance for all Americans.

Protecting our Constitution from attack and Supreme Court modification is the most important reason not to elect Hillary Clinton.
