Check your mailbox!

If you are a registered voter in Island County, your ballot is on its way and should arrive within the next day or two. Approximately 46,000 General Election ballots were mailed out by Island County Auditor Sheilah Crider on Wednesday, Oct. 17.

If you have not received your ballot by Oct. 25, contact Island County Elections at 360-679-7366 or email the elections office at Elections@co.island.wa.us to request a replacement ballot.

Accessible ballot drop boxes are available 24-hours from now until 8 p.m. on election day, Tuesday Nov. 6.

They are located at the Island County Elections Office at 400 N. Main Street, Coupeville; Trinity Lutheran Church at 18341 SR 525, Freeland; Oak Harbor City Hall at 865 SE Barrington Drive, Oak Harbor; Ken’s Korner Red Apple Grocery at 4141 SR 525, Clinton; and the Camano Island Annex at 121 N. East Camano Drive, Camano Island.

No postage is required for ballots delivered to the drop boxes.

Mailed ballots – with postage affixed – must be postmarked by Tuesday Nov. 6. County officials recommend that voters get their ballots in the mail several days in advance to guarantee that they are postmarked.

Island County has one centralized voting center in Coupeville for voters with disabilities. Other voters may also use the facility.
