My father and I have both been patients at Whidbey General in the last few years and have had adequate care by pros. We do not see the need for a Taj Mahal facility on our beautiful island. The management bean counters and the CEO need to control costs to get in line with other area hospitals.
At this point in time Whidbey General Hospital wants $50 million to add beds that do not increase capacity, just so the CEO can say “I built this!”
Is the head man at the hospital suffering from battle stress?
Is he suffering from post traumatic stress syndrome from trying to choose which type of latte he wants?
The man needs to get on board with the rest of the community. Not everybody makes the insane type of salary he has managed to con out of the hospital.
