The heady play of Abraham Leyva Elenes guided the Coupeville High School soccer team to its first win of the season as the Wolves tripped visiting Forks 3-0 Monday, April 4.

Leyva Elenes recorded a hat trick, punching in each goal with a header. The senior now has eight of the Wolves’ 13 goals this season and has scored in each match.

Coupeville (1-5) plays at Puyallup’s Cascade Christian (0-3) at 3:30 p.m. Friday, April 8, and then goes to Forks (1-5) for a rematch at 3 p.m. Monday, April 11.
