As the Whidbey Playhouse enters its 46th season, the Whidbey Playhouse Board of Directors decided it’s time for a new logo. Design a new logo for the Playhouse, win prizes and support the local theater.

The deadline for entries is Friday, June 1.

The purpose of this contest is to design a new logo for the Whidbey Playhouse. The current logo is 46 years old and does not effectively “brand” the organization, organizers say. The official logo will be used online, in print and on merchandise to represent the nonprofit community theater.

Flexibility is a key requirement; this includes both full color as well as black and white presentation and the ability to easily re-size the image. The logo will need to be suitable for high quality printing.

All entries must be in digital format and must be submitted to office@whidbeyplayhouse.com.

The entry email must include the name, age, postal address, phone number and email address of the entrant. Put “Logo Contest Entry” as the subject of the email. No more than three entries may be submitted per person. There is no entry fee.

The winning designer will receive a $200 cash prize, two season tickets to the Playhouse, recognition and a reciprocal link on the Playhouse website and the right to use the basic logo and identify himself or herself as the logo designer.
