The Whidbey Camano Land Trust is celebrating its 30th Anniversary, and the community is invited!

Join the local nonprofit, conservation organization on Saturday, Aug. 16 at the Camp Casey Picnic Area in Coupeville for a family-friendly celebration of the land.

All ages will enjoy a delicious salmon BBQ, music of the Mweya Marimba Band, inspirational speaker Martin LeBlanc of the Children and Nature Network, hands-on activities and guided tours.

Bat box building, Native American storytelling, old-growth forest and military history tours are just some of the activities and guided tours being offered.

The Whidbey Camano Land Trust protects the Islands’ most important natural habitats, scenic vistas and working farms in partnership with landowners and the broader community. Incorporated in 1984, the Land Trust is a local, nonprofit, non-political organization working to protect those places that Whidbey and Camano Islanders hold precious and important for current and future generations.
