Coupeville’s award-winning Shiba, Kaidu, and her handler John Schisel will appear on television Saturday, Feb. 4, at noon on ABC.

The program will feature the AKC/Eukanuba National Championships held in Orlando in December.

Kaida won Best of Breed and then lost to the eventual Best of Show winner in the non-sporting group.

Kaida and Schisel will compete at the Westminster in Madison Square Garden in New York City Monday, Feb. 13th.

Schisel said, “If she were to win her breed, she will advance to non-sporting group which will be televised that same evening, I believe.”
