Halloween in Coupeville

Halloween happenings around Coupeville were full of fun and fright!

Jazmin Fletcher, 10 of Oak Harbor, won a prize for answering a trivia question correctly – and also Best Girl’s Costume. Fletcher’s mom made her Steam Punk Rocketeer costume.

After parading down Front Street during the Halloween Torchlight Parade on Saturday, the kids answered wacky trivia questions to win prizes.

This little monster, Nevaeh Hertlein, 5 of Coupeville, was excited to hunt for candy as she walked down Front Street with her family during the Torchlight Parade.

Police Officer Nicolas D’Haene, 4, and vampire Asia James, 11, both of Coupeville pause in their stroll down Front Street during the annual Torchlight Parade on Saturday.

One of the smallest participants in the Torchlight Parade on Saturday, Callen Huff, carried by his dad, won over the judges and won Best Boy’s Costume for being a gnome.

This little bride, Skylar Parker, 6, won’t let rain ruin her wedding day. She knows it is good luck! The poor weather on Saturday reduced attendance at the annual Torchlight Parade in Coupeville, which can have over 400 participants, to about 150 people. However, Parker and other participants still had smiles on their faces.

At the Halloween party at Ebey Bowl last Friday, Megan Thorn sparkled in her Hindu princess outfit.
