Winning its second one-point match in two days, the Oak Harbor High School tennis team nipped visiting Arlington 4-3 Wednesday, April 15.
Oak Harbor captured three of the four singles matches.
Mckenzie Perry battled to a 6-3, 4-6, 6-4 win in first singles; AnnaBelle White took second singles 6-4, 6-2; and Alyssa Eden cruised in fourth singles 6-2, 6-0.
In third singles, Oak Harbor’s Tamia Rios had to retire with an injury after dropping the first set 7-5.
Erin Horikawa and Emma Lerch wrapped up the match for Oak Harbor with a 6-2, 6-2 win in third doubles.
Hannah Gluth and Ellysa Bonganay lost in first doubles 6-0, 6-1; and Ria Bains and Patrice Woodworth fell in second doubles 6-3, 6-3.
Lauren Aspery and Julia Smith teamed up to win an exhibition doubles match 7-6(3), 6-2.
Oak Harbor (3-1, 3-5) plays South Whidbey (6-2) in a home nonleague match at 3:30 p.m. Monday, April 20.
